High Pressure Ball Valve

High-pressure ball valve:

1. All the components are forged steel: A105

2. Lower-loading stem and backward sealing construction have been set up for positive sealing at stuffing position and backing-out protecting of the handle

3. Interceded valve seat is applied on whose back O-ring is also mounted for avoiding the leakage of medium.

Features of High-pressure ball valve

1. Blowout-Proof Stem.

A groove has been machined into the stem. The gland retainer has been machined with a step. A retaining-ring is installed between the stem groove and the gland retainer step -therefore providing blow-out proof stem protection.

2. Fire Safe Valves.

Fire Safe valves are designed and tested to the requirements of API 607 4th Edition and to BS 6755 Part 2 specifications. The valves contain soft seat rings. In the event of fire, a secondary metallic machined fire lip on the end connector comes in contact with the ball and prevents leakage through the valve port. The fire safe stem incorporates a machined fire lip, which will prevent leakage once the thrust seal is burned off. All coosai valves are fitted with expanded graphite body seals and stem packing.

3. Anti-Static Valves.

During the valve operation, the friction between the ball and the PTFE seat will produce electrostatic charges and they will be accumulated onto the ball, to prevent electrostatic spark from being produced, an anti-static device for ball valves or other rotary type valves. A hole is bored in the stem and a contact assembly incorporating a pair of spring-steel arms is secured in the hole by a tube which is an interference fit in the hole. The tube prevents longitudinal and rotational movement of the spring means in the hole. The spring arms engage the floor and/or walls in the socket in the valve ball to maintain an electrical path between the stem and valve ball.
